THE COASTERS are the supreme comedians of rock and roll. What's more, their impact has deepened with time. Their songs, their parodies and the tunes that became million-selling records are revived in this new generation of music.

Their first record, "Down In Mexico" was recorded in the spring of 1956, and propelled THE COASTERS into fame. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame producers (who produced many of Elvis Presley's biggest hits), Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller, under the direction of Lester Sill (President of Screen Gems Corporation), moved the group to Atlantic Records and started a gold record career that lasted over a decade.

THE COASTERS' 1957 hit, "Down In Mexico", was followed with the double-sided million seller smash "Searching" on the A side and "Young Blood" on the B side. In 1958 they recorded two more big hits, "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown" and from then on, it was the sweet smell of success for the Coasters.

THE COASTERS have performed over a dozen times at Disneyland, 6 Flags and at the Kennedy Center, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theater and in hotels and night clubs throughout the country. They have appeared with such artists as Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Platters, Bill Haley and the Comets, The Shirelles and many more. They also starred in the movie "Let the Good Times Roll". In Las Vegas they have appeared for many years with Rich Little, Johnny Carson and have been a regular opening act for Joan Rivers.

THE COASTERS were the first vocal group to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on January 21, 1987. They have appeared in 6 major movies and have amassed over 100 million record sales in their career. And to this date, their act is one of the liveliest and funniest in show business.
